A LOT CAN HAPPEN OVER COFFEE…

A lot can happen over a cup of coffee. You all must have heard about this famous tagline to which I never agreed until now…. On the contrary I believed “A Lot can happen over a mug of beer” or “a chai” and if it’s raining then nothing can match if u got a company who enjoys your company more than you do. I am used to the company of “chai waali” or “beer waala”… ;) for me anything can happen over a cup of “CHAI” OR “MUG OF BEER”… but this was missing in my life… I got an opportunity to meet a girl for a cup of coffee….actually she got an opportunity I just accepted just to experience that really can anything happen “over a cup of coffee”? …. :p … just kidding… it was just that she was getting bored and I was demotivated scared and bit depressed for some serious reason and she proved to be a savior… a lot happened over how many cups of coffee I can’t recall… I owe so much to her as when I went back from that place I was so motivated smiling and feeling so relaxed from a boy who arrived with millions of wrinkles on his face…the confidence and positive which she gave me within 3 hours of chat was beyond anyones capability… she did it in a very different way and in a very genuine and in an elegant style… u must be thinking how? It was a short story…not short but yah a story which she so emotionally and with a sweet smile just said it to me… it was like I just I am listening to a learned person and an angel… I guess the best story teller… only one think I assumed about her was that I found her so beautiful actually the most beautiful for so many reason..

She was so beautiful as soon as she arrived...
She was so beautiful when she smile...
She was so beautiful with whatever she rhyme..
I found her so beautiful because..
Every time, with each word , she meant to say only one thing..
"Everything is going to be just fine"..

She found me weird, rude and not interested at the beginning as when I came to that coffee shop she was not there and I rang her up.. and she was noticeably quick after that call… so allowing me to wait for few minutes was acceptable and obviously she is a girl…it’s her privilege… ;) but i was rude.. as I sat without greeting her normally so she could easily see in my face … and elegantly ordered a coffee and smoothly started to talk and she was so polite and that continuous smile just made my heart synced to her words and effortlessly, after we chit chat some boring topics, she started with her story…

Amidst the celebration of Diwali, Arjun came into this world, in a stingy hut, and yet he was smiling. No child ever does that. His grandmother said that this little boy is destined to do something great. Something that nobody will even encompass. So when arjun was 4, his parents sold him, so that they could have food for at least one more week. Thus began his journey towards greatness. All Arjun remembered about his mother, was her voice. That too, a particular sentence. Maybe it was the last thing she ever said to him before selling him.
She had said,” My dear son, remember this, everything that happens in our life, leads us towards our destiny. God loves you, my son, and something great is destined for you. So whatever you do, do not regret your past, because it is only the path towards your happiness. And when you get your happiness, it will be so complete, that you would have done anything to achieve it.” But this did not help him when the man beat him like a dog every day. The man bought kids and sent them off to beg for money. Some like Arjun got the special privilege of having their face disabled so they earn more money. His face did not ask sympathy, but dislike. And it was this dislike that made people give him money quickly, to have his face removed from their presence was all that people wanted at that time. But his face did not help him find his love. Sometimes Arjun thought that if love was beating up your wife every day in a drunken state, he’d rather have none of it. The man’s wife had always been kind to him. So when Arjun was old enough to take matters into his own hands, and when he could take no more, he took the man’s knife, and stabbed through the man’s heart. And though it was the small knife but the only thing he felt when the metal entered into the man’s black heart was deepest remorse. His remorse turned to astonishment when he saw the man’s love weeping and holding him so tight that she became red with blood in a few minutes. It was the last colour her clothes would see for the rest of her life.
In the court, he unknowingly helped his case by confessing the truth. He got life imprisonment. He did not understand why it was called “life imprisonment” as it was only 14 years of imprisonment when he visited his residence he learned that he never had had a happy life. Prison life was a blessing in comparison to his street life. It was here he met someone who understood him. His story had attracted the attention of a young law graduate. She had his case reopened and got his sentence reduced, by pleading self-defense, to 5 years. It was in the 3rd year that he had met her. But she still came to visit him on a weekly basis. Arjun thought he found love. And so on the day he was released, he requested her to see him on the other side.
And so she stood there on the other side of the road. And as soon as Arjun saw her, he felt as if there was a bright light in front of him. He stepped forward towards what he thought was happiness. But god had other plans. The bright light was that of a truck. The last thing Arjun saw was the fear in his love’s eyes. The fear he saw in the eyes of the wife of the man when he threatened her every day. The fear he thought he would never give anyone. It was that look that actually killed him not that truck.
When he reached heaven, god was apologetic. He said that he had almost forgotten about him. The boy was smiling. Almighty had arranged everything in order to make amends. Everything he had ever wanted while growing up, a play house, refrigerator, tasty beverages etc. everything was all around Arjun. He could even see anything on earth he wanted. And as he saw the graduate he loved, he said,” God, I wanted to live.”
God saw him and uttered nothing and cried with millions of cut in his heart. “Both of them have been crying ever since.

With this story she only wanted to say that there are people who have nothing and still search for happiness but I have so many things to cherish but still get depress, demotivated and avoid being happy and get disturbed which affects so many things. The simple fact she conveyed and wants me to understand was that at least I am not sitting in the darker side like Arjun… I am more privilege. I should be thankful to that and look further and be happy rather than feeling remorse for anything…

P.S. I don’t know whether I was expressive or not but she was phenomenally expressive….i am not easily influenced but she did… neither I was intended to get influence nor she tried to…but the charm of her expression melted my mood and I just got carried away by her beauty at that point… What matters for both of us is that I was fine… ;): P…
And hah last but not the least “A LOT CAN HAPPEN OVER A CUP OF COFFEE” actually more than a cup of coffee… ;)
